Abstract

This paper is a discussion about the ethic and social dilemma that occurs in the clinical practice in the context of the law against intrafamily violence in Chile. The paper describes the therapeutic function, the penal function and the coneccted human right issues as a conflictive mixture that characterizes the work with violence.
