A descriptive study with Bayesian network simulations is presented, in which the perception and environmental behavior of a group of 471 students from two schools of a Mexican public university were analyzed. All participants were surveyed, and a Bayesian network was built with the survey data, aiming to determine dependency relationships among variables. The results showed a clear perception about climate change and behaviors consistent with environmental problems in almost all the cases. The Bayesian network indicated that the variables that present a higher dependence were: to own trees and to use energy saving bulbs. Results are discussed in relation with other investigations and their utility in terms of statistical and ecological analysis.
